AC5001

The AC5001 systems use condenser microphone capsules specially selected for their technical characteristics, where excellent frequency response and their ability to withstand high sound pressures result in zero distortion, even at the highest volumes.

With five directional microphones for the right hand and an omnidirectional microphone for the left, this system allows you to capture the entire range of the instrument with the same intensity, from the lowest to the highest notes.

Harmonik has developed a unique Shock-Mount system for its microphones in order to mechanically isolate the microphones from the accordion by absorbing the mechanical vibrations produced when playing. The result is a much clearer, more natural sound.

The AC5001 is highly resistant to feedback because its directional microphones in conjunction with high-fidelity electronics make the system capable of rejecting external sound by up to 30dB.

The AC5001-HQ is available as either a mono summed output, both hands mixed to a single channel, or dual mono output with each hand on a separate channel. In addition to having all the features of the AC5001-HQ, the AC5001-PLUS incorporates individual tone control for the bass and keyboard, allowing the accordionist to adjust the accordion’s timbre to their liking. This model also benefits from a Mono-Stereo switch enabling the accordionist to easily switch from stereo to mono and vice versa, providing more functionality and flexibility on stage as well as in the studio.

The AC5001-RG has been specially created in collaboration with Richard Galliano and features a fully balanced phantom powered XLR output.
